2009 AST Dew Tour “Athlete of the Week” Sweepstakes OFFICIAL RULES

1. HOW TO ENTER/ WINNER SELECTION:  NO PURCHASE NECESSARY.  WCMH-NBC 4 will identify an AST Dew Athlete Of The Week as an activator on WCMH-NBC 4 during the June 27, July 24-25 and August 15-16, 2009 broadcasts of the AST Dew Tour.  On Monday following the previous weekends’ broadcasts, WRKZ, 99.7 The Rock listeners will be prompted to call 614-821-9970 during the noon hour to identify the activator shown during the previous weekends’  broadcast.  The first five (5) callers to correctly identify the activator will be registered as one (1) of five (5) qualifiers for the weekly prize and one (1) of fifteen (15) qualifiers for the grand prize. Each qualifier will receive a qualifying prize package.  Each Monday, a weekly prize winner will be randomly drawn from the five (5) qualifiers registered that day.  The Grand Prize winner will be randomly drawn from all fifteen (15) qualifiers on or about August 17, 2009 and will be contacted by telephone and/or mail. The runner up Grand Prize winner will be randomly drawn from all remaining fourteen (14) qualifiers on or about August 17, 2009 and will be contacted by telephone and/or mail.  All prizes are subject to availability.  ODDS OF WINNING WEEKLY PRIZE:  1 in 5.  ODDS OF WINNING GRAND PRIZE:  1 in 15.

2. PRIZES:  QUALIFYING PRIZES:  Fifteen (15) grand prize qualifiers will each receive a Mountain Dew nylon bag with one (1) 12-pack Mountain dew coupon (a $30.00 value.)  No substitution of the prize is offered and no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted.  WEEKLY PRIZES: Three (3) weekly winners will each receive an Amp Messenger Bag with four (4) 3-hour unlimited play passes to Magic Mountain ($100 value), one (1) $50 I-Tunes gift card, two (2) 12-pack of Mountain Dew coupons, one (1) Dew Tour bandanna and one day pass valid for four persons to Fort Rapids Waterpark.  (a $        value.)  No substitution of the weekly prize is offered and no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted.  RUNNER UP GRAND PRIZE: One (1) runner up Grand Prize will be awarded which consists of eight (8) 3-hour unlimited play passes and food coupons from Magic Mountain ($200 value), 8- 3 hour unlimited play passes & food from Magic Mountain ($200 value), one (1) Nike sweatshirt, one (1) Nike T-shirt, one (1) Dew Tour Bandanna and one (1) overnight package for four persons at Fort Rapids Waterpark.  (a $        value.)  GRAND PRIZE:  One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded each consisting of one (1) trip for two (2) persons to the 2009 AST Dew Tour in Orlando, Florida.  Grand Prize includes the following: round coach trip air transportation for two (2) persons (winner and one (1) travel guest) from airport near winner’s residence within the continental U.S. to an airport in the Orlando area (itinerary, carrier and airports to be determined by Sponsor); two (2) nights standard double occupancy hotel room; two (2) VIP passes to the AST Dew Tour.  Estimated retail value up to $2,000, depending upon winner’s point of travel origin. Winner and travel guest must travel on October 16-18, 2009; alternate travel dates are not available.  No travel extensions permitted.  Winner and travel guest must travel on same itinerary. Winner and travel guest must possess all necessary documentation required for air travel (e.g., valid photo identification). If Grand Prize winner resides in close proximity to Orlando, ground transportation may be substituted for air transportation at Mountain Dew’s sole discretion. Unused travel will be forfeited.  All other expenses not specifically mentioned herein (including but not limited to taxes, personal charges, meals, tips, gratuities, room service charges, any additional costs charged to the room, and other incidental expenses) are solely the responsibility of prize winner. Any minor guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by parent or legal guardian who must be the winner. Travel guest will be required to sign and travel release before any travel occurs. No responsibility is assumed by G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company, WRKZ-99.7 The Rock, WCMH-NBC 4, PepsiCo Inc., and Pepsi-Cola Company for any event that is delayed, rescheduled, postponed or canceled in whole or in part for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation, any force major event such as hurricane, fire, flood, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, war, insurrection, or terrorist threat. In the event of such cancellation, neither WRKZ-99.7 The Rock, WCMH-NBC 4, G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company or Pepsi-Cola Company shall have any further liability or obligation to winner.

3. ELIGIBILITY:  Sweepstakes open only to legal residents of the U.S. residing in the states of Ohio who are 18 years of age or older.  Employees of G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company, WRKZ-99.7 The Rock, WCMH-NBC 4, Media General Operations, Inc., Pepsi-Cola Company, its bottlers, their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, divisions, distributors, suppliers and advertising, promotional or judging agencies and immediate family members of such employees (parent, child, sibling, spouse) and persons living in the same household of such employees (whether related or not) are not eligible to win.  Limit one (1) qualifier per household.

4. GENERAL:  No substitution of prize is offered, no transfer of prize to a third party is permitted and non-cash prizes may not be redeemed for cash value, except as determined by WRKZ-99.7 The Rock, WCMH-NBC 4, and G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company in their sole discretion.  Void wherever prohibited or restricted by law.  Prize winner will be solely responsible for paying all applicable federal, state and local taxes on prize; if applicable, winner will receive an IRS Form 1099 for the retail value of the prize. No groups, clubs or organizations may enter or win prizes.  All entrants, as a condition of entry, agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the sponsors which shall be final and binding. 

5. WINNER NOTIFICATION:  All potential winner(s) will be notified by phone and/or mail.  Major prize winners will be required to sign and return to WRKZ-99.7 The Rock an Affidavit of Eligibility/ Liability Release with a publicity release within 14 days of first attempt at notification.  If any required documents are not returned within the required number of days, or if mail is returned as undeliverable, without a forwarding address, then prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.  Travel guests of trip winners will also be required to sign and return a travel release before prize is awarded.  Allow 3 weeks for delivery of prize following completion of notification process.  Prizes will only be delivered to addresses within the United States.  Any portion of a prize not accepted by winner shall be forfeited. All prizes must be redeemed within 30 days at the WRKZ studios, 1458 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215 during normal business hours.  All travel and transportation costs, if any, associated with collecting the prize, are winner’s responsibility.

6. RELEASE OF LIABILITY.  All entrants, as a condition of participation, and all winners, by acceptance of a prize, agree to release G & J Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co., WRKZ-99.7 The Rock , WCMH-NBC 4-NBC 4,  Media General Operations, Inc., PepsiCo Inc., and, Pepsi-Cola Company, its bottlers, each of their respective parents, subsidiaries, divisions, affiliates, suppliers, divisions, distributors and advertising, promotional or judging agencies from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses to persons and property which may be sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while preparing for, participating in, and/or traveling to and from any prize-related activity or any typographical or other error in the printing of these Official Rules or the offering or announcement of any prize.  Neither G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co., WRKZ-99.7 The Rock, WCMH-NBC 4, Media General Operations, Inc., PepsiCo Inc., nor Pepsi-Cola Company make any representations nor warranties of any kind concerning the appearance, performance or safety of any prize awarded.  Upon request, winners must consent (and confirm such consent in writing) to the use of their name, voice, picture or other likeness without compensation for promotional purposes as determined by G&J Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company, WRKZ-99.7 The Rock , WCMH-NBC 4, Media General Operations, Inc., PepsiCo Inc., and Pepsi-Cola Company except for residents in TN and where prohibited by law.

7. WINNERS’ LIST:  For a list of the major prize winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope before November 1, 2009, to AST Dew Tour Athlete Of The Week, c/o WBZX, 1458 Dublin Road, Columbus, OH 43215.
