Authorities continued to investigate the case.
More charges could follow, authorities said.
The three suspects were being held in federal custody without bond and were scheduled to appear in federal court at 2 p.m. Thursday, July 2.

I agree with everything that everyone has said. Set them free, no reason to lock them up when they have never hurt anyone. Go after the violent criminals and those that steal from honest people trying to make a living, just as these gentlemen were doing…trying to make a living in a bad economy. Just because 3 people were busted doesn’t mean people will stop. We should go ahead and legalize it, then it won’t be such a big deal, and the government will make money…a fix to our financial woes!
Why was Delaware County in on this bust? Sheriff “Magnum” Davis sure knows how to keep his name in the news.
When the U.S. prohibited alcohol, the same things were common: large scale backroom manufacturing operations, hordes of cash and guns… Ladies and gentlemen, this is silly. There is no reason to criminally outlaw a substance that is far less harmful than alcohol, prescription drugs, tobacco (when vaporized or eaten as opposed to smoked) and other legal drugs. We should tax it, apply minimum ages like alcohol, and leave it at that (and no, that does NOT mean we will then have to legalize all drugs).
Legalize POT and TAX it and we would not need a tax increase in Columbus or any school district. Tax the grower, the seller and the user like they do booze in Ohio and we will be one rich state.
I don’t use and never have but at some pint these petty drug busts have got to wake someone up. Look at time wasted here and recently in Ashville.
Makes no sense any longer to keep fighting a drug “war” they haven’t even made a dent in the past 100 yrs.
They could have made a bigger bust at Commie fest this year.
I agree. It seems like that’s alot of resources being used up that could be better served going after “bigger game”, but these pot growers have to be caught too. I just hope there was only 1 person from all those dept’s doing the investigating. Book em Dano!
Federal and state officials need to focus more on ther pervs/pedophiles and the Meth labs.(especially the Federal officials) This is a kiddie bust, show me a story of a true heroic bust. ie. major human trafficing ring brought down.
