COLUMBUS, Ohio—Two deputies were injured and a man was arrested after authorities responded to reports of a home burglary Monday.
NBC 4 reported with the BOTTOMLINE Monday.
A CPD officer and two Franklin County sheriff’s deputies were called to the 4000 block of Hanover Hill Court on the city’s Southeast Side on a report of a burglary in progress.
Upon their arrival, authorities located Marcus Maddox in the middle of Hanover Hill Court, a police report said.
The officer made verbal orders to gain control of Maddox, but he refused to obey and walked directly at the officer, authorities said.

The CPD officer were able to subdue Maddox with a Taser.
One deputy is receiving medical care at a local hospital for injuries to his head, face and right hand.
