UPDATE: Authorities rule a man’s death as a homicide after friends found his body in a South Side apartment late Sunday.
COLUMBUS, Ohio—Authorities ruled a man’s death as a homicide after his body was found in a South Side apartment late Sunday.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
CPD officers were called to the 100 block of Melissa Dawn Drive, near Obetz, before 9:30 p.m. Sunday.
Friends called authorities after they found 27-year-old Dale A. Waters in his apartment and unresponsive.
CFD medics pronounced Waters dead at 10:11 p.m.
An autopsy was performed Monday, and it was determined Waters died as a result of numerous stab wounds.
Anyone with information about the city’s 36th homicide of 2009 was asked to call CPD’s homicide squad at 614-645-4730.
