Woman, 20, Accused Of Stabbing Man Overnight

HILLIARD, Ohio—A woman is in custody, accused in connection with the overnight stabbing of a 21-year-old man.

The stabbing occurred in the 4800 block of Prince Charles Way in Hilliard at about midnight.

Upon arrival, officers found 21-year-old Justin Swick suffering from multiple stab wounds. He was transported to The Ohio State University Medical Center in critical condition.

The investigation identified the suspect as 20-year-old Alisha M. Janney. She was arrested without incident at her home on Smith Calhoun Road in Plain City.

She will be held at the Franklin County Jail pending a court appearance on Tuesday.

Officials said the motive for the attack remains under investigation.
