2 Go To Hospital After I-70 Crash

MADISON COUNTY—Two males were taken to area hospitals after a two-vehicle crash on Interstate 70 Friday night.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

The West Jefferson post of the State Highway Patrol continued to investigate a two-vehicle crash that occurred in Madison County on I-70 eastbound at mile marker 83.

The crash happened at about 8:25 p.m. Friday

The following information was taken from an OSP report:

A 1994 Dodge Shadow was traveling westbound on 1-70 when it was driven off the left side of the road, crossed the grass median and struck an eastbound-traveling 2008 Buick Enclave.

Eric Harvey of Zanesville was driving the Dodge. He was transported to Grant Medical Center by Med-Flight.

Dequaez Bowen, 16, of Zanesville was transported to a local hospital.

Harvey and Bowen were not wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.

Timothy Brigner, 52, of Rittman, Ohio, was driving the Buick; 44-year-old Carolyn Brigner was his passenger.

Timothy and Carolyn both sustained minor injuries and were treated at the scene.

No charges were filed, pending crash investigation.
