3 Teens Die When Vehicle Strikes Tree

ATHENS, Ohio—Three people were killed in a single-vehicle accident Thursday afternoon.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Ohio State Highway Patrol Athens post confirmed the triple-fatal crash happened on Factory Road.

The crash happened at 3:35 p.m.

According to troopers, the vehicle driven by Adam W. Jolley, 16, was traveling north on County Road 14 near Albany, Ohio. The vehicle went off the right side of the road and struck a tree.

The other victims were Adam D. Fitzgerald, 17, and Christopher N. Cole, 17.

The three occupants were pronounced dead on the scene.

The road was closed for a little more than two hours.

This is the kind of lose the family of every teen driver fears. Sad day for 3 families that they will never get over.

First off My heart goes out to the three boy’s family’s. Such a sad time the loss of three young boys this is close to my house.
Second plz stop w/ the neg comments this is a sad thing that happened but neg comments are not nice nor are they needed.

My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of those involved.  May they find comfort in God, even though he could have kept this from happening in the first place.
