A man is arrested Friday for allegedly robbing a Sunbury hotel earlier this week.
SUNBURY, Ohio—A man was arrested Friday for allegedly robbing a Sunbury hotel.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Delaware County Sheriff’s deputies arrested 32-year-old Juan Miguel Silva of Columbus for allegedly robbing the Holiday Inn Express at 7301 state Route 37 in Sunbury.
Silva allegedly demanded cash from the hotel clerk around 11:50 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26.
Witnesses reported Silva implied he had a weapon, Sheriff Walter L. Davis III said.
Silva appeared in Delaware County Municipal Court Friday on one count of robbery.
He was being held in the Delaware County jail.

As one who spent over 30 yrs. working with convicted criminals I can tell you I never met one that was intelligent, at least in their criminal activities. They are all stupid, but some are even dumber than usual!
Having worked in the hotel business for more than 20 years, I believe anyone who robs a hotel should be on some kind of ‘stupid criminals’ list. Hotels are not cash businesses, almost all credit cards, and rarely have much, if any, cash on hand.
