MARENGO, Ohio— There has been one crime too many at the gas station/deli that serves the small Morrow County town of Marengo.

Late Saturday, the clerk called the owner of Castles, Burgess Castle.

“I got a phone call said we’d been robbed again at gunpoint. They basically came in through our drive-through about five minutes before we closed, put a gun to the clerk’s head put him on the floor and took all the money,“ Castle said.

When the robber left, Castle told NBC 4’s Lauren Diedrich, he sprayed the clerk in the face with pepper spray.

The business was burglarized a few weeks ago.

Castle offered $1,000 reward for anyone who can help authorities find the culprit.

He said it’s worth every penny of the reward to put the person responsible in jail.

“I don’t have a lot to say to him, but I know what I’d like to do to him,“ Castle said.
