Pedestrian Dies In Hospital After He’s Hit In Westerville

WESTERVILLE, Ohio—A pedestrian died after he was struck by a vehicle Thursday afternoon.  He was hospitalized but died of injuries sustained in the crash.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Todd Baker, 46, was struck by a vehicle at Farthing Drive and North Otterbein Avenue, according to Westerville police.

The accident happened before 4 p.m.

Reports indicated the victim was unconscious when authorities arrived at the scene. He was in level-1 trauma during transport.

Med-Flight transported the victim to OSU Medical Center Main where he died Thursday night.

Police say the juvenile driver was uninjured as a result of the accident.

He was questioned at Westerville Division of Police headquarters and released to his family.

Westerville police continued to investigate.
