GAHANNA, Ohio—Police evacuated a local business after reports of a suspicious package Wednesday afternoon.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

The McGraw-Hill Companies building at 860 Taylor Station Rd. was evacuated after reports of a suspicious package, according to Gahanna police.

Employees were evacuated at about 2:20 p.m., according to a NBC 4 tipster.

Authorities, including the Columbus fire bomb squad, were called to the scene.

The package in question was large and was delivered to McGraw-Hill.

It did not have a return address and was addressed to an employee who isn’t normally at that location.

The package was deemed to be safe.

Crews cleared the scene, and the evacuation was over before 4 p.m.
