OSP Releases IDs After Double-Fatal Crash
URBANA, Ohio—Authorities said a van crashed head-on into a school bus, killing two people inside the van and causing minor injuries to 10 students and the bus driver.

Marysville Post troopers continued to investigate a double-fatal crash involving a school bus and two other vehicles Thursday afternoon.

The crash happened on U.S. route 36 near Zimmerman Road in Champaign County Thursday afternoon.
Janet R. Case, 68, of Springfield was driving her 2000 Dodge Caravan eastbound on U.S. 36 when she drifted left of center, striking a westbound school bus that was transporting children.
Case and her passenger Barbara D. Thurston, 66, also of Springfield were pronounced dead at the scene by the Champaign County coroner.
The 2005 International school bus was being driven by Kenneth C Black, 40, of Urbana.
Black and 10 of his passengers were transported to Urbana Mercy Hospital with nonlife-threatening injuries.
The third vehicle involved was a 2003 Monte Carlo driven by Peter Aiello, 44, of Columbus.
Aiello was traveling eastbound, following Case’s vehicle, and was struck by flying debris after the impact. He was not injured.
The crash remained under investigation.

This accident actually happened near St. Paris, not Urbana. The school bus belonged to Graham Local Schools, and was probably only 2 miles from its destination at the time of the crash. Unfortunate, to say the least. Thoughts and prayers are with everyone involved.
