COLUMBUS, Ohio—A portion of Interstate 70 was closed Sunday on the city’s east side after a crash involving at least four vehicles and a tractor-trailer.

The crash occurred on I-70 east at Interstate 270 at about noon, NBC 4 reported.

I-70 east was closed at Hamilton Road during the cleanup and investigation, but reopened at about 1:30 p.m.

There were no immediate details regarding injuries, but initial reports indicated that at least one person was transported to an area hospital in stable condition.

At least one person was trapped in the wreckage after the crash.
