Spring Game Draft
QB Pryror was picked No. 1 and it seems the football Buckeyes are taking practice seriously.
No. 2 was the No. 1 pick during Wednesday’s Ohio State Spring Game Draft.
COLUMBUS, Ohio—No. 2 was the No. 1 pick during Wednesday’s Ohio State Spring Game Draft.
Terrelle Pryor was the first pick for the Gray squad, as Ohio State prepares for its annual Spring Game Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
The Scarlet squad, captained by offensive lineman Jim Cordle, says it’s roster is a near-lock for victory. Their standouts include Dan Herron, Devier Posey and Doug Worthington.
The Gray is captained by safety Kurt Coleman who, not so surprisingly, feels equally confident.
“We owned those guys!“ Coleman boasted after the draft. His other key players include linebacker Brian Rolle and defensive end Cameron Heyward.
They’ll meet Saturday at Ohio Stadium, following a lacrosse match between the Ohio State men and second-ranked Notre Dame.
Students receive free admission and access to a “Beach Party” in the South endzone. Students are encouraged to wear beach gear to the game.
