2 Sentenced For Ross County Murder

ROSS COUNTY, Ohio—Two men have been sentenced for the murder of a Ross County man in March 2009.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

A judge sentenced Danny L. Gee to eight years in prison Monday for his part in the murder of 61-year-old George Zimmerman. Gee was charged with complicity to commit aggravated murder and aggravated robbery.

Zimmerman’s was body was found in his Bain Highway home in mid-March when firefighters were called to a house fire.

Lundy Estep was sentenced Monday, Nov. 2, to life in prison with parole eligibility after 20 years for the aggravated murder charges. He also was sentenced to 10 years in prison for an aggravated robbery charge. 

Zimmerman died of blunt-force trauma.
