4-Wheeling Suspect Arrested When He Goes Back For Bicycle

FRANKFORT, Ohio—A 27-year-old man was arrested for allegedly breaking into a Ross County barn and stealing an off-road vehicle.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

All of the following information came from an official release.

Ross County sheriff’s deputies were called to a home on Westfall Road before 7 a.m. Tuesday.

The homeowner said someone broke into his barn and stole his four-wheeler.

The four-wheeler went past the residence while the deputy was taking a report.

The deputy pursued the four-wheeler, which was going more than 60 mph.

The four-wheeler pulled off the road, and a male suspect fled on foot into the woods.

Christopher L. Dingus of New Boston was apprehended at the residence when he returned to get the bicycle he left at the scene.

Dingus, 27, was charged with breaking and entering and theft.
