Authorities Offer Reward For Tips In Newark Burglary

NEWARK, Ohio—Authorities have offered a reward for tips in an East End burglary investigation.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Someone entered a home in the 200 block of Boyleston Avenue and stole cash and firearms Friday, July 24, 2009, according to Newark police.

The stolen firearms include two Smith and Wesson .357’s (one with a scope), a Smith and Wesson .44 Magnum and a Smith and Wesson 9-millimeter.

Licking County Crime Stoppers has offered a reward of as much as $1,000 to anyone who has information that leads to an arrest or indictment.

Anyone with information on the crime was encouraged to call Licking County Crime Stoppers at 740-349-6888 or 888-488-9058.

A special coding system protects the identity of the caller but allows for the reward to be issued at a later time.
