Campus Crime Alert Issued After Man’s Robbery

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Investigators are asking for tips after a man was robbed near The Ohio State University campus early Wednesday.

According to university police, a man said he was robbed by two men in the area of 12th Avenue and Summit Street at about 12:10 a.m., NBC 4 reported.

The victim said he was pushed and punched before the suspects fled the area to the west.

The first suspect is described as a black man, 5 feet 11 inches tall, weighing 150 pounds with long hair and was wearing a baseball cap.

The second suspect is described as a black man, 6 feet tall, weighing 140 pounds and was wearing dark clothing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Columbus police at 614-645-4545 or University Police at 614-292-2121.
