Columbus State Break-In Stopped

DELAWARE COUNTY, Ohio—A man was arrested Sunday after he allegedly broke into an under-construction building at a future Columbus State campus.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Delaware County sheriff’s deputies responded to an alarm at 5100 Cornerstone Dr., Delaware, at about 1 p.m. Sunday.

A man was arrested after deputies said he was running from an under-construction building on Columbus State’s future Delaware campus.

Donnie Sorrell, 58, was charged with one count of breaking and entering.

He also was wanted on an outstanding warrant for theft. 

He was taken to the Delaware County Jail.
