COLUMBUS, Ohio—Columbus police continued to search for an armed robbery suspect Thursday.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

A suspect walked into the United Dairy Farmers store at 2635 W. Broad St. on the city’s West Side and asked for cigarettes at about 1:41 a.m. Tuesday.

When the clerk asked for identification, the suspect produced a black handgun and demanded money from the cash register, police said.

The clerk complied, and the suspect fled the store on foot in an unknown direction, according to a police report.

The suspect was described as a black male who is 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet 2 inches tall. He weighs about 190 to 210 pounds and was wearing a dark hoodie with fur on the rim of the hood and a dark toboggan with a bill. He is between 18 and 25 years old.

Anyone with information was asked to call CPD at 614-645-4545. Surveillance video was to be available later Thursday.
