Tips Needed In Vandalism Of DeSales High School

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Central Ohio Crime Stoppers need your help this week identifying a case of vandalism that has shocked a local community. 

The incident occurred during the early-morning hours of July 5 at the St. Francis DeSales High School. 

Police said young vandals used a crow bar to break the glass in the front doors and once they were inside, went on a rampage which included knocking over a religious statue. 

Investigators are not sure if the culprits are former disgruntled students or students from a school rival.  Regardless of the motivation, it is a case of breaking and entering.

One suspect is described as being in his late teens, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing 155 pounds with long blond hair.  He was wearing a white short-sleeved pull-over shirt with black trim around the collar and the sleeves and light-colored pants. 

The second suspect appears to be in his late teens or early 20’s, 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighing 180 pounds.  He was wearing a dark short-sleeved shirt and light-colored pants.  Both suspects fled the area in a 1996-2000 dark-colored Lexus.
