COLUMBUS, Ohio—On Friday, September 18, 2009 between the hours of 12:23 a.m. and 2:30 a.m., at least three masked men forced their way into the Sedalia Food Center in Madison Township on the southeast side of Franklin County.

The suspects cut the alarm and phone wires at the back of the store and forced open the front door of the store.  Two of the masked men entered the store and began looking through filing cabinets in the office.  The suspects removed an undisclosed amount of cash and split the cash between them while still in the office.

All three of the suspects are white males.  The man who is suspected to be the “look-out” appears to be in his 20’s, medium build, short brown hair and was wearing a red shirt with a logo jacket and hood.  The man who entered the building first is also in his 20’s and is 5’9” tall with a medium build wearing baggy shorts and colored athletic shoes.  The second suspect who entered the building is a larger man, athletic build, in his 20’s is about 6” tall, 230 pounds.

Authorities say the pair apparently used a towel or sheet with cut-out holes as a disguise.

Crime Stoppers has posted a reward of up to $2,000 for any information leading to the arrest and/or indictment of the persons responsible for this crime.  Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at (614) 461-TIPS.
