A routine traffic stop ended with the discovery of dozens of balloons containing heroin in Delaware County.

SUNBURY, Ohio—A routine traffic stop ended with the discovery of dozens of balloons containing heroin in Delaware County.

According to the Delaware County sheriff’s office, deputies noticed a vehicle with a broken taillight on state Route 37 at about 10:40 a.m. Tuesday morning.

Deputies executed the traffic stop near the Pilot Travel Center on S.R. 37 in Sunbury and found 51 balloons filled with heroin.

Terrance Gillam, 23, and Kyle McClintock, 25, were arrested and charged with drug possession. Both men are from Galion.
