Detective: It Was ‘Like A Rambo Situation’
Published: June 24, 2009
CINCINNATI—An unemployed Cincinnati man who allegedly said he planned to kill his former boss was intercepted by police and is being held on $525,000 bond.
Police say 28-year-old John Rosser told the property manager at his apartment complex on Monday that he couldn’t pay his rent, then put on fatigues and armed himself with a handgun and several knives.
Detective Jeff Dunaway says it was “like a Rambo situation.“
Police found Rosser near the downtown convention center and arrested him. He’s been charged with carrying a concealed weapon and attempted murder. The former employer has not been identified.
Court records do not indicate if Rosser entered a plea to either charge. His court-appointed attorney did not immediately return a call Wednesday.

Wow, they do? What about the repeat offenders?
He will find God in prison because they all do!!!!
Maybe he doesn’t believe in GOD. Also I have seen plenty of people who have supposedly seen the light do pretty horrible things including pastors.
Yes crick I understand that but not everyone does, yet that is. Maybe now he can see the light, especially since it is not too late considering the fortune that no one was hurt.
in response to Maumi’s comment: “I wish there were some type of support group for individuals to help them keep thier head up and guide them into a direction of hope and help.“ - there is…..His name is God Almighty!
Crazy! Did he really think that killing his former boss was going to help his situation or get his job back? Sometimes people just don’t really think before they act, this just made his situation that much worse.
Sounds to me like the guy was never really with it.
The effect that our economy is having on ppl is terribly sad. I wish there were some type of support group for individuals to help them keep thier head up and guide them into a direction of hope and help.
