Leona?
Why does this poor woman have to pay back every penny, but Bernard Madoff’s wife gets to keep “only” $2.5M?
To paraphrase the Queen of Mean, “restitution is for the little people”.
Does anyone remember a certain Columbus mayors wife that recieved a pay check for months for a job she only showed up 8 hours for?Was there ever a punishment or repayment on that case?
30 days, restitution, loss of job and permanent record damage which most likely will result in no employment seems sufficient to me. We need the prison/jail space for the real criminals.
30 days! What an injustice. Looks like the Delaware County Court system is just as corrupt as Franklin County.
