Local Teen Shot Twice In 1 Year

COLUMBUS, Ohio—An 18-year-old female remained in critical condition Friday after she was shot a second time this year.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Columbus police said someone shot Telissa Sowell on Century Drive on the city’s Northeast Side shortly before 6 p.m. Thursday.

She was transported to a local hospital in critical condition.

Witnesses said a black Dodge Durango left the area after the shooting.

Sowell also was injured in a shooting in April 2009.

Anyone with information in the shooting was asked to call CPD’s assault squad at 614-645-4141.
