Man Accused Of Murdering, Dismembering Woman Is Indicted

A local man accused of murdering and dismembering his live-in girlfriend is indicted on three counts Thursday.
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ohio—A local man accused of murdering and dismembering his live-in girlfriend was indicted on three counts Thursday.
NBC 4 reported with the BOTTOM LINE on where the case stands.
Robert Knight, 51, was indicted on one count of murder (first-degree felony), one count of abuse of a corpse (fifth-degree felony) and one count of tampering with evidence (third-degree felony).
Knight murdered 44-year-old Tracey Moore, CPD homicide detectives said.
He dismembered her body and scattered parts around a Southwest Side apartment complex, authorities said.
Moore was identified through fingerprints, according to CPD.
Detectives recovered about 98 percent of Moore’s body with the help of Ohio State University anthropologists.
Detectives said Moore lived with Knight at the West Bay apartments on Bay Run Drive.
CPD said the head and arms of a woman were found in Knight’s apartment freezer.
Moore was dead for about four days before her body was dismembered, investigators said.
Knight was arraigned in a Franklin County common pleas courtroom Friday. A judge set his bond at $2 million.
He remained in the Franklin County jail.
Moore’s death was the city’s 39th homicide of 2009.

This is precisely who the death penalty was meant for. Unless they allow him to plead insanity, this guy is totally evil and is unworthy of any further life in this world. But there is a place for him in the next where he can be with his kind, if you know what I mean.
if he did do what they say he did, i have 4 horse’s we can tie him to. as for freedom you only have what they let you have for now, the men and women that died for this country died in vain. everyday they come up with new laws to take our freedom, all in the name of safty. and if they can’t take freedom they take your money.

This piece of trash does,nt deserve a fair trial.Lock his slimeball but up in solitary confinement for life. That is locked down 23 hours out of everyday and that is exactly what he deserves.
I hope he can get a fair trial after all this negative publicity.
Put him in a cage with 3 grown pit bulls and throw away the key. He needs to try begging a pit-bull for his life before they dismember him.
Even lethal injection would be too humane for this monster.
