Man Arrested After Allegedly Shooting Into Home

COLUMBUS, Ohio—A man is in custody, accused of firing shots into a home Wednesday night.

The shooting occurred at a home in the 1200 block of Oakwood Avenue at about 9:30 p.m.

Police said Wendell Brandon allegedly shot multiple times at three people who were standing on the porch of the home.

The home was struck multiple times, but the individuals on the porch were not injured.

The residents of the home were inside at the time of the shooting.

Witnesses advised responding officers that the shooter ran into a neighboring home.

Brandon was located and taken into custody without incident.

Witnesses at the scene positively identified Brandon as the alleged shooter.

Brandon was charged with felonious assault and discharging into a habitation.
