Man Gets 5 Years For Kiddie Porn, Not Kid Rock

CINCINNATI—A Cincinnati man who originally told police he thought he had downloaded Kid Rock music videos has been sentenced to five years in prison for having child pornography on his computer instead.

Thirty-nine-year-old Dwayne King could have received up to 15 years when he faced a Hamilton County judge on Monday. But the shorter prison term was part of King’s deal with prosecutors when he pleaded guilty last month to 10 counts of pandering sexually oriented material involving a minor.

Authorities say 10 videos depicting children in sex acts were detected on King’s computer by a state agent using the same type of file-sharing software often used by people who want to find and swap kiddie porn.

critz33: Or castrate them. They’d NEVER be able to “offend” again!

He’ll be back out and doing it again. These pedophiles cannot be cured. They ALWAYS progress into more serious offenses, because their addiction requires more deviant activities to get the same “high” as before.
We have to decide as a society that we aren’t going to let an abusers rights trump that of the innocents. Most of us agree that sexual offenses are civil rights violations against the child/woman-why aren’t we prosecuting them as such? Doesn’t singling out women or children constitute a hate crime as well?

I wish the prison’s would start putting these perverts in GenPop. There is still honor amongst criminals, and there are some who cannot stand a person who is there in for anything sexually related to women, and or children. If prisons did this there would be less perverts in there and we could slowly weed’em all out.
