Man To Die For Woman’s Fiery Car-Trunk Death

ELYRIA, Ohio—A northeast Ohio man faces execution on Wednesday for locking a woman in the trunk of her car in 1991 and burning her to death just hours after he was rejected by two old girlfriends.
Daniel Wilson of Elyria, now 39 years old, got a ride home from a bar from 24-year-old Carol Lutz of Amherst hours before she was killed.
Wilson says he doesn’t remember how she got in the trunk. He punched a hole in the gas tank and set it on fire.
It wasn’t the first time someone was killed by Wilson. An elderly neighbor beaten by a 14-year-old Wilson in 1984 died days later. Wilson served three years in juvenile detention.
Strickland on Monday turned down the request for mercy from Daniel Wilson.
Wilson’s attorney Daniel Doughten says he got the call from Strickland’s office Monday morning.
Also Monday, Wilson asked the U.S. Supreme Court to delay his execution while he pursues appeals of his conviction on the grounds the jury heard misinformation about the indictment against him.

Too damn bad he gets to die a “peaceful” death with a needle in his worthless arm. Put him in a car trunk, puncture the gas tank (full) and dose rest of car in gas and light him up. I’ll buy the gas !!!!!!!!!!!!
What I want to know is why did it take 18 years to do this??? He killed 2 people in 7 years!!!!!!

A peaceful death by injection is too good for him - since we can’t burn HIM at the stake, I think life in prison would be more of a punishment.
