MARION, Ohio —A north Central Ohio man faces murder charges and police say it all stems from a love triangle gone tragic.

The shooting occurred at an apartment in the 200 block of Oak Street just before 9:30 p.m. Sunday.

According to police, around 9:20 p.m., 47-year-old Kevin and Rhonda McMurray were watching television inside the apartment when 47-year-old Terry Taylor came through the door.

“He entered into the home, obviously uninvited and basically came in shooting,” said Marion Police Major Jay McDonald.

Kevin was shot several times and was transported to Marion General Hospital where he was pronounced dead.

McMurray’s sister Debbie Byrd doesn’t understand why this had to happen.  “He was just a great person.  He’d help people no matter what they needed. He was always there to help.“
Rhonda was able to identify Taylor as the gunman, and for good reason; he was her ex-boyfriend.

Police say Rhonda and Kevin were in the process of getting a divorce. During that time, she began seeing Taylor. Police say when Rhonda decided to reconcile her 24-year marriage to Kevin, Taylor took drastic action.

Police say they’ve made runs to the home in the past for domestic violence issues. Meanwhile friends say the couple has had a turbulent history.  “I’m surprised it hasn’t come to this before now,” says one neighbor who didn’t want to be identified.

Taylor was arrested without incident at his home in Caledonia and is now in the Multi-County Jail facing murder charges.

“We will be there every time he goes to court, every time he’s there,” says Byrd.

According to the victim’s sister, Taylor was placed on a $500,000 bond during arraignment Monday afternoon.

Oddly enough, investigators said, Taylor and Kevin McMurray were at one time best friends.

When will men realize how dangerous ungodly women are. Its the truth, well only for true bible believers. Just think about it, all the jails are full of men that committed a crime and a woman had some influence to it. this woman should be in jail along with the ex-boyfriend. she played both against each other, now she got rid of both, now her and her sister can live hapily ever after till the next foolish man meets them.

Maybe if women would pick someone and stick to their decisions instead of running to anyone who will pay attention to them, this wouldn’t have happened to the poor guy. She should be indicted for actions that led to the fact..obviously she was screwing the guy..what about adultery laws?
