COLUMBUS, Ohio—Five masked gunmen attacked a hotel clerk after police said the clerk couldn’t meet all of their demands.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

The incident happened around 1:30 a.m. Friday at the Holiday Inn Express at 4041 S. Hamilton Rd. on the city’s Southeast Side.

Five masked gunmen jumped the hotel-service counter, demanding cash and the clerk open the safe, according to CPD.

The clerk was beaten and knocked unconscious when he couldn’t comply with all of the suspects’ demands, CPD said.

The suspects took an undetermined amount of cash and some of the clerk’s property, according to a police report.

The suspects might have been scared off when a hotel guest walked down the hall, police said.

The hotel clerk was transported to a local hospital.

The suspects remained on the loose.

Anyone with information regarding the incident was asked to contact the CPD robbery squad at 614-645-4665 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-645-TIPS (8477).

I wouldn’t be surprised if it was set up by the Mayor this is the kinda threat of what may come He is making isn’t it?
You have a right to bear arms in this country and I hope if the Tax increase fails that people start using that right and killing these low lifes.

Correction: Police, not polioe. I was typing without glasses. Maybe that’s what is happening with these posts from NBC 4, perhaps they are all typing without their glasses, too. I’m not perfect, I’m just Jenny Q. Public. These stories are written by professionals who should have a better grasp of grammar.

Maybe the Mayor set this up to help nudge his tax increase. What idiot thinks there would be any money laying around a Hotel anyway.

Landru: Maybe you’re wrong - Perhaps the polioe were really there and told the 5 men that the clerk could not meet all of their demands, which resulted in the attack on the hotel clerk.

“Five masked gunmen attacked a hotel clerk after police said the clerk couldn’t meet all of their demands.“

My head hurts.  Try it this way: The Columbus Division of Police reported that five masked gunmen attacked a hotel clerk after he failed to meet their demands.

Or: Five masked gunmen attacked a hotel clerk after he couldn’t meet all of their demands, Columbus Division of Police said.
