One Critical, One Arrested After Shooting At Party

COLUMBUS, Ohio —On Saturday just after 10 p.m., Columbus police were called to Easthaven Court on a report of a shooting.

When police arrived, they found a 16-year-old boy with a gunshot wound.  Medics were called and the victim was transported to the hospital in critical condition.  After further investigation, it was revealed several juveniles became involved in a verbal argument in the basement of the home where a party was being held.

Jeray McBride, 16, of Grove City, allegedly pulled a gun and shot the juvenile victim.  McBride was apprehended at the scene and was charged with felonious assault.
