Pataskala Man: I Thought I Was Going To Be Killed
PATASKALA, Ohio—A Pataskala man said he thought he was going to be killed during a recent home invasion and robbery.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
The incident occurred at the victim’s home at about 12:30 a.m. Friday.
“I heard a noise and I looked up and that door flew open and I stood up and a guy smacked me in the face with a gun,“ the victim said.
Brian Stanley said four men pistol-whipped him, threatened to kill him and threw a television on his head while he was “hog-tied.“
“I was shaking so bad, I thought they was going to kill me,“ Stanley said.
Stanley said he didn’t know the four men but believes an ex-girlfriend could be involved. He said the ex came to the house about five minutes before the incident.
“I was handcuffed … on the ground and they picked me up—two of them, one in the front, one in the back—picked me up and literally throwed me into the back of the closet,“ Stanley said.
The thieves stole a TV, cash and prescription pain killers.
“[The thieves asked] ‘Where’s all your money at?‘ I said, ‘I have no money.‘ I said, ‘There’s $9 on the dresser there. You’re welcomed to take it if you like,‘“
Stanley has been on worker’s compensation ever since a cow fell on him at the meat plant where he worked.

good point landru, the same should be applied as why certain Columbus reporters are trying to make a big deal on the speeding cop. the story is more about him being on Workmens comp or sick time that going 147 mph? he should be in a mental facility! the freeways are full of potholes!if he wrecked at speed there wouldn’t be enough skin to bury?
Why are the details of this man’s employment status part of the story?
