Pediatrician Indicted On 27 Counts

HAMILTON, Ohio—A southwest Ohio pediatrician has been indicted on 27 felony counts, including allegations of drug trafficking and unlawful sexual conduct with a minor.
A Butler County grand jury returned the indictment today against Dr. Mark Blankenburg, who has a medical practice in Hamilton.
The 52-year-old physician is charged with corruption of a minor, two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and 24 drug-related counts.
An answering machine at Blankenburg’s office did not accept messages. Court records do not indicate if he has a lawyer.
