COLUMBUS, Ohio—A violent robbery was caught on tape and as a suspect went after a clerk with a crowbar.

Columbus police continued to search for a suspect officers said could be responsible for more than one Northeast Side gas-station robbery.
A white male entered the Speedway at 4240 Morse Rd., confronted the sales clerk with the crowbar and demanded cash from the register, according to CPD.
The police report said the suspect smashed the glass sales counter with the crowbar, walked behind the counter and removed an undetermined amount of cash from the till.
That was before 3 a.m. Tuesday.
CPD said a similar robbery took place before 2 a.m. Wednesday morning at the Shell gas station at 3970 Morse Rd.
A male who matched the same description approached the sales clerk with a tire iron, slammed it on the sales counter, walked behind the counter and took money from the register.
Detectives were searching for the bold robbery suspect who is described as approximately 40 years old, 5 feet 9 inches tall with a shaved head.
