Police: Male Abducted From Campus Area At Gunpoint

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Local authorities issued a campus-crime alert Wednesday after a male allegedly was abducted at gunpoint late Tuesday.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

A male reported being abducted at gunpoint from the area of East 15th Avenue and North High Street at about 11:30 p.m.

The victim was forced into a black vehicle and shown a black automatic firearm and a black revolver, police said.

The victim was taken to the city’s East Side and forced to withdraw money with his ATM card, police said.

The victim was released later near South James Road and East Main Street.

Anyone with information was asked to contact CPD at 614-645-4545, University police at 614-292-2121, Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-645-TIPS or University Crime Stoppers at 614-247-TIPS.

i am related to one of the victims.. the man with the gun was white. the other 3 men in the car were black. they were driving a dark 4 door sedan with the plate # starting with e.
there were 2 other robberies before the kidnapping. Thank God noone was hurt.
