Reward Offered For Tips In Hyde Park Grill Robbery
A special crime alert was issued in connection with a robbery at a Dublin restaurant this month.
DUBLIN, Ohio—A special crime alert was issued in connection with a robbery at a Dublin restaurant this month.
According to Central Ohio Crime Stoppers, on May 1 at about 11:15 a.m. the manager of the Hyde Park Grill in Dublin opened the back door of the restaurant to check the mailbox and was approached by an unknown man.
The man hit the manager in the face with an unidentified object and forced the manager into the office, where he demanded cash.
The suspect then fled the scene through the back door.
No vehicle was observed.
The suspect is described as a white man, 28 to 32 years old with short blond hair and a goatee. He is 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighed approximately 160 to 170 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray sweatshirt and blue jeans.
A reward of up to $2,000 has been posted for any information received by June 7 that leads to the arrest and/or indictment of the person or persons responsible for the robbery.
