18 years old is just a technicality.
!7 yrs and 364days?? They are old enough
to know what is right and wrong. maybe we should make it 17-19 depending on the mental capacity of the individual?? (lock his butt up for a long as time)

I have stopped counting how many times this stuff has went on at Eastland.  I used to shop there all the time, now I won’t go there unless it is broad daylight and I am with my husband - which is very rare - only if it is a necessity.  I will drive up north or go to Newark.  You never know what you are dodging just walking into the place - then it’s hold on to your purse for all it is worth.  I don’t even like driving up Hamilton Rd., wondering who is beside you and if you made them mad enough to pull a weapon.  This used to be a nice place to shop - now it’s all gangs and drugs.

Have you noticed how S.Hamilton Rd. looks like a 3rd world country? It is so bad that I do not know of anyone who shops there, especially after dark. Most apts. around Eastland are a major thug/welfare gang habitat.I wonder how, what business there is, stays in business around Hamilton and Refugee. The area needs some serious policing.

dyer.140 - this is the second version of the news story.  The first said a 17 year old man.  And I did make a point.

Thanks for the education Bodie, but you missed my point as well.

The story says, “17 year old male,“ not, “17 year old man.“ If you’re going to nit pick on a news story, try to make an actual point.
