FAIRVIEW, Pa.—An autopsy is set on the body of an Ohio woman found dumped in northwestern Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania State Police say the dead woman is 58-year-old Carla Westhofen of Sandusky, Ohio. Police from Ohio have charged the woman’s boyfriend with murder and kidnapping, but they say 56-year-old David Kromer remains at large.

Erie County District Attorney Jack Daneri says the woman’s body was found Saturday in Fairview Township. That’s about 10 miles southwest of Erie, Pa., along the Lake Erie shoreline.

Daneri says it appears the woman had been stabbed several times. The autopsy is scheduled for Monday.

Police in Ohio say the victim was last seen Thursday night. She was reported missing by her family on Friday.
