COLUMBUS, Ohio—Police asked for the public’s help after a man fired a shot into a vehicle with two occupants Wednesday evening.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Jordan Edwards, 22, and 22-year-old Frankie Harris were sitting in a vehicle parked in the area of Woodland Avenue and Levelgreen Drive at about 7 p.m.

An unknown black male, who was dressed in black, approached the vehicle and wanted Edwards to roll down his window, a police report said.

Edwards drove off and parked across the street near Woodland Avenue and Middlehurst Drive.

The same man approached the vehicle—from the rear this time—produced a handgun and fired one shot into the driver’s-side window.

Edwards drove away from the North Side area as the male continued shooting.

No one was injured.

Anyone with information was asked to call CPD at 614-645-4141 or Central Ohio Crime Stoppers at 614-461-8477 (TIPS).
