Suspect In Church Thefts Arrested
A man who appeared in court this morning is now facing charges that he stole from a church.
LANCASTER, Ohio —A man who was charged Friday morning with misdemeanor drug charges was charged Friday afternoon with theft from a church in what could be the first of at least three.
Nickolas Williams, 28, lives in Reynoldsburg and has theft charges dating back to 1999.
Williams was charged with stealing credit cards from a church in Bellbrook in Greene County near Dayton, but according to Fairfield County Sheriff Dave Phalen, he is the main suspect in a theft at a church in Pickerington.
Williams has not been charged in connection with the case involving the Harvest Christian Community Church in Pickerington.
Williams was arrested as the result of a tip overnight in Grove City.
Officials in pockets of Licking and Fairfield counties said they believe the man dubbed as “the church thief” has bounced from town to town, walking into churches during events or services and stealing purses or handbags.

This guy is a real scumbag… he needs about five years on chain-gang. With vermin like this running around I should never see litter along the highways.
we live in a world of no morals or respect for others. We take god and prayer out of everything. People today don’t care about anything or anybody but themselves, people don’t care what they do or who they hurt doing it! I’m about ready to go find a deserted island where I don’t have to deal with the world anymore, this world is sick twisted and evil runs rampant
I’m thinking there’s a special place, you know where, for this scum!
Well, he should be getting charged with felonies so the Columbus courts will probably sentence him to probation and community service
He even looks like a loser
Fairfield County Sheriff Dave Phalen said the suspect was arrested as the result of a tip overnight in Grove City.
God Bless YOU TIPSTER!!
