Teen Shot While Walking On Southwest Side

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Columbus police continued to investigate a Southwest Side shooting.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

CPD was called to a local hospital at about 4:48 p.m. Thursday on reports of a walk-in shooting victim.

Joshua Thomas, 19, said he was walking in the area of Norton and Hall Roads Thursday afternoon when he heard a gunshot and felt pain in his leg.

Thomas said he flagged down a passing vehicle and asked the driver to take him to the hospital.

Thomas was treated for his injury.

CPD continued to look for the shooting suspect(s).

Anyone with information was asked to call CPD at 614-645-4545.
