COLUMBUS, Ohio—A 12-year-old girl who was reported missing Wednesday was found safe Thursday afternoon.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Porchia N. Manns was seen last walking to her school-bus stop at McDowell and Rich streets right outside of Downtown. Police announced she was found safe shortly before 5:30 p.m.

One has to wonder if this story would have been given more priority if the child missing were white and from the suburbs. Seriously, a girl goes missing and it was buried in the newscast, then no mention made when she was found and no details made available? Shame on you, NBC4!
