MARION, Ohio – The Ohio State Highway Patrol will honor 3 men for their life-saving efforts this Saturday at 11 a.m.  The ceremony will take place at 2284 Marion-Upper Sandusky Road at the Marion Post of the Ohio Highway Patrol.  The three men, Mark Kincaid of Prospect, Ohio, David Kelly, of Marion, Ohio and Jerry Harris of Cardington, Ohio arrived on the scene of a serious vehicle crash on March 11, 2009.  The crash occurred on Richland Road west of U.S. 23, when 26-year old Theresa Tanner drove off the right side of the road, struck a guardrail and a concrete bridge abutment and slid down an embankment.  The vehicle immediately caught fire and became fully engulfed.  The 3 men pulled Tanner from her burning vehicle and carried her up the embankment to safety.
