3 Hurt When Vehicles Crash Head-On

A serious Madison County accident involving two vehicles and eight people sends three to area hospitals.
PLAIN CITY, Ohio—A serious Monday night accident involving two vehicles and eight people sent three to area hospitals.

The Ohio State Highway Patrol continued to investigate a Madison County accident that involved two vehicles and eight victims.
The accident occurred after 11 p.m. Monday on Plain City-Georgesville Road, south of Colvin Drive, according to OSP.
Jessica Henthorne of Columbus was driving a Honda Pilot southbound on Plain City-Georgesville Road.
Lynford Schrock of Unionville Center was driving a Toyota Sienna northbound. Schrock had six passengers with him, including three young children.
OSP said the Honda Pilot reportedly went left-of-center and caused the head-on collision.
Henthorne, 25, was the only occupant in her vehicle. She was transported to Grant Medical Center.
Sienna driver Lynford Schrock, 45, was uninjured.
Lyford’s passenger, Darlene Schrock, was flown to OSU Medical Center by CareFlight.
Passenger Rachel Gingerich, 25, of Irwin was flown to OSU Medical Center by MedFlight.
The other four Sienna passengers were uninjured.
All occupants of the Sienna reportedly were wearing seat belts and child restraints.
The two-vehicle crash remained under investigation.
Officials said it was unknown whether alcohol was a factor in the crash.
No charges have been filed currently.
