H1N1 Clinic In Gahanna Runs Smoothly, Amid Recent National Statistics
GAHANNA, Ohio—Today’s H1N1 clinic in Gahanna was from 9am until noon, but some people
got in line as early as 5am, so they wouldn’t have to wait. According
Mitzi Kline, a health official with the Franklin County Board of Health,
a total of 1,519 people received an H1N1 vaccine today. “Everything went
smoothly, we didn’t have to turn anyone away,“ said, Kline.
Meanwhile, people in line agreed, saying even though they had to wait
for two hours, everything went smoothly, some even used a strategy to
make it go even smoother. For instance, Alice Fachman and her son
Cameron, had a family member do all the hard work, “We didn’t have to
wait in the line very long because we sent my husband over and he waited
in for us and we came over at about nine o’clock.“ said, Fachman.
As far as other upcoming clinics in central Ohio, there will be two;
Monday and Tuesday, at Veteran’s Memorial, from 5 to 8 pm there will be
a clinic for all children ages 6 months to 18.
