More H1N1 Vaccine Clinics Open This Week

CENTRAL OHIO—As city and county health departments wait for more H1N1 vaccines to come in from the state level, they’ve been working hard to use every last bit of the vaccine this past week in Central Ohio.

Just yesterday, 452 people got the vaccine in the first hour of a clinic in Whitehall, on Thursday, at Columbus Public Health, more than 620 pregnant women got the shot in three hours. Here’s a list of three more H1N1 Vaccine Clinics coming this week in Central Ohio:
Monday (Oct. 26) in Delaware County
3 to 8 p.m. at Buckeye Valley High School
901 Coover Rd., Delaware, Ohio
For pregnant women, caregivers and health care providers

Wednesday (Oct. 28) in Pickaway County
8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Pickaway County Health Department
465 E. Ohio Street, Circleville, Ohio
This clinic is for pregnant women only. Women must show proof of
pregnancy either with an ultrasound or letter from the doctor.

Friday (Oct. 30) in Union County
2 to 6 p.m. at the Marysville Armory (attached to the Marysville YMCA). This clinic is open to caregivers and household contacts of infants younger than age 6 months. This includes parents of and siblings living with an infant younger than age 6 months. This also includes in-home daycare providers who care for an infant younger than age 6 months. Family members (children, spouse) living with an-home daycare provider of an infant younger than age 6 months are also welcome at this clinic.
