I drove in the blizzard in 1977 with no salt on the roads, the state trucks could not get out and my dads 1969 pick up had no brakes or heat and STILL NO ACCIDENTS.
So my point is SLOW DOWN AND STOP TAIL GATING WHEN THE WEATHER GETS COLD AND ICY OR SNOW COVERED. ITS NOT THE ROADS ITS THE IDIOTS DRIVING ON THEM!
I was in an accident at the same spot a few weeks ago. One of the state workers that came and helped us out stated that due to the budget cuts they were not salting as much this year. I think there’s many more areas we could cut from then this. Your risking people’s lives by not salting our road ways. There were probably 10 accidents the day I got hit and look at it again today. Someone is going to get seriously injured or killed going over that bridge. I hope the state thinks about that next time they don’t salt our roads.
I cannot Believe that the people in Columbus are too STUPID TO SLOW DOWN AND STOP TAILGATING the other drivers on the road.
IF YOU ARE IN SUCH A HURRY TO GET TO WHERE YOU ARE GOING YOU SHOULD HAVE LEFT HOME 10 MINUTES EARLIER!
