Don’tbestupid, the original headline read something like “I-270 closed after two crashes on the northeast side”, one of those being the crash near Sawmill Road.
I am sorry for your loss, I know that phrase does little in the process of grief. I am glad that your brother was not a statistic. You and your family and friends will be in my prayers! God Bless.
I am the sister of the man who died in this accident. He was a wonderful man and far from stupid. Thank you to all of you who had kind words. As for the others and your negative comments, shame on you!
keep your negative comments to yourself, remember the family memebers in times like this, put yourself in their shoes.
STUPIDITY is fast passing ALCOHOL as the number one cause of crashes in Columbus Ohio.
Yeah as is any holiday weekend, or everyday anymore, I am so glad that we have had nothing bad like that here this weekend!
yeah I wasn’t necessarily saying this was bad driving but this entire weekend has been plagued with people who are in a big hurry to get nowhere.
It could have been something with the vehicle, something on the roadway the driver didn’t see, another driver, driver illness ( diabetic, epliepsy, black out ) or stupity as I call Drinking and driving and excessive speed. But I am sure they will find the cause. I just hope he did not suffer, traumatic car accident injuries are horrific at times.
sad story either way.
people need to drive a little safer.

He could’ve been ejected in several ways, ie… door opening while in motion from impact, open window. Or he simply could’ve thought he wasn’t hurt and had internal trauma that he succumbed to, or brain trauma, the shock his body was in could have gotten him out of the vehicle to move to where he was found. Adrenaline does some crazy things in panic modes, it is sad though. And worst case thinking is he wasn’t alone in the car. But hey I’m just another Emergency responder.
